Property, liability, auto
Property, liability and auto. Quoted together so you can see how the coverages interact instead of buying them blind.

Premises and operations coverage, including completed operations where relevant.
Owned vehicles, plus hired and non-owned auto which most businesses overlook.
Additional limits above the underlying policies, priced per million.
These three omissions cause the majority of unpleasant surprises.
Hired and non-owned auto is the most commonly missing coverage. If an employee rents a car for a business trip or drives their own car on errands, the business has exposure that a personal policy will not cover.
Business income coverage is the second. A property policy that replaces the building but not the revenue lost while it is closed leaves the business unable to pay its own bills during repairs.
Ordinance and law coverage is the third. If the building code requires upgrades when you rebuild, a standard property policy will not pay for the difference.
Coverage for vehicles the business does not own but uses, including employee rentals and personal cars used for work.
If a closure would stop your revenue while fixed costs continue, yes. That is most businesses.
Replacement cost is the standard. Actual cash value pays less because it deducts depreciation.
